Acting Out – Elementary Arts Outreach

Acting Out is Crane River Theater’s elementary arts outreach program, in partnership with the Kearney Family YMCA and Kearney Public Schools. Crane River Theater and Kearney YMCA Creative Arts Program directors will go into the classroom and work directly with students and music educators to show them the magic of theatre. Through interactive activities, kids are exposed to the world of theater and realize just how fun it can be!

To date, we have educated more than 3,700 students in Kearney elementary schools. In Spring of 2023, we’ll be attending all 10 Kearney elementary schools to work with the entire 3rd-5th grade enrollment in the district.

We look forward to visiting these students this spring!

Thank you to BD Construction and Trius Federal Credit Union for their support of our Acting Out Elementary Arts Outreach.
