Wilbur Turnblad

Bill has been onstage and backstage in Kearney area theaters since high school, (a long time ago). He is ever hopeful of being discovered and making his mark on Broadway or Hollywood. He is active in Kearney Community Theatre, where he has had the privilege of performing with all three of his kids, and appeared on a Crane River stage as the Coach in Footloose. Other credits include directing productions of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Hound of the Baskervilles on the KCT stage, and many onstage appearances, most recently as Atticus Finch in the 2016 KCT production of To Kill a Mockingbird. He even got to share the stage with Steve Barth in the 1996 KCT production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Offstage Bill is a cardiovascular ultrasound tech at Kearney Regional Medical Center. As always, thanks to Pat for letting him come out and play.
