Barry Klemper

Briar is thrilled to be making his Crane River Theater debut as Barry Klemper in The Boys Next Door this summer! He is a recent 2018 graduate of Western Carolina University’s BFA Acting program, but is also a proud alumnus of the Florida School of the Arts. His last professional theater credit was last summer at Parkway Playhouse as the notorious gangster, Clyde Barrow, in the musical, Bonnie & Clyde. Other credits include: Joe Pitt in Angels in America, CB in Dog Sees God, Giles Ralston in The Mousetrap, Lucas Beineke in The Addams Family, and many more! Following his run in The Boys Next Door at CRT, Briar will be returning to Parkway Playhouse for the remainder of the summer to play the role of Judas in the musical, Godspell. He would like to take this time to thank his parents, his siblings, his grandmother, and all of his friends for their love and support from the moment he chose acting as his career path; “If it wasn’t for your constant reassurance and encouragement, I really don’t know where I would be at today. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart! You mean the absolute world to me!” If you would like to keep up with Briar and his future endeavors, please follow him on Instagram or Twitter: @ItzyourboyBriar.
