Technical Director/Scene Designer

 

Darin received his MFA in Scenic Design from the University of South Dakota. He currently serves as the Technical Director and Scenic Designer at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Darin’s recent design credits include Red (Crane River Theater), Rabbit Hole (UNK), Mauritius (Nebraska Repertory Theatre), and All Shook Up (Black Hills Playhouse). Previously, he worked as an Assistant Designer at the Omaha Community Playhouse and Technical Director for the Lincoln Community Playhouse, where he built over 27 productions and designed scenery for six productions. Darin also spent seven years working in scene shops in Hollywood where he built scenery for CNN, TBS, Lifetime, Fox and Disneyland.
