Dee is thrilled to be making her Crane River Theater debut! Dee received her Bachelor degree from Florida A&M University in Theatre Performance and her Master degree from Florida State University in Theatre. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and the Florida Association of Theatre Educators. Dee serves as an adjudicator for Florida community colleges and for the Florida District 1 Thespians Society Festival. Dee is also a co-founder of the ETA performance group and she has been seen in numerous professional productions including The Color Purple (Sofia, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe), To Kill a Mockingbird (Calpurnia, Mill Mountain Theatre), Dreamgirls (Effie White, Quincy Music Theatre), The Guys (Joan, Theatre Tallahassee), Dark Legends in Blood (Etta James, FAMU Essential Theatre), The Violet Hour (Jessie Brewster, FSU School of Theatre), and Zombie Shakespeare (Cinderella/Olivia/Nurse, Southern Shakespeare Co.). Dee has also performed several works at the National Black Theatre Festival and with the Laughing Stock Company, A Musically Twisted Political Cabaret. Dee would like to send a thank you to Steve Barth and Crane River Theater for the opportunity and to the cast and crew for an amazing experience. Dee would like to send a special thank you to her mother and son for making her possible. “You both are the light in my life.”  “Thank you, Lord. Bless our show.”
