Mark hails from Ogallala, Nebraska, where he graduated from Ogallala High School in 2009. He graduated from the University of Nebraska, Kearney with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in May 2015. Mark has been active within many facets of the fine arts including instrumental and vocal music, children’s theatre, musicals, and drama. Most recently Mark performed with the University of Nebraska Kearney Loper Low Brass ensemble at the Southwest Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference in Grants, New Mexico. He has also performed with the Loper Low Brass ensemble at the 2014 International Tuba Euphonium Conference at Indiana University and the University of Nebraska Trombonalopes at the 2014 International Trombone Festival in the Eastman School of Music. Mark is excited to be joining the Crane River tech crew for his second season and is looking forward to a long and successful career. He has accepted his first job as the 5-12 instrumental music instructor for the Cozad Community Schools this fall.
