Rutheah received her degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, after studying vocal performance at both UNK and UNL. While in college, she was very involved in stage productions and choral ensembles as well as a regional finalist at NATS vocal competitions. One of her favorite roles during college was Belle in Beauty and The Beast with the Theatre of the American West. Rutheah has been a featured soloist for many concerts with Platte River Singers and the Lincoln Symphony. For nearly five years, Rutheah has been a professional photographer; running a newborn & family photography studio, blue house fotos, in Kearney. After taking a six-year hiatus from musical theater to grow her business and raise her three curly headed munchkins, Rutheah recently returned to the stage last summer as the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She is very excited to join Crane River Theater again this summer for Oklahoma!
