Michael Hobbs

August Brandt is a 6th grader at Horizon Middle School. He has been acting for three years, with two of his favorite roles so far being Young Shrek in Shrek the Musical (Crane River Theater – July 2023) and Young Simba in The Lion King, Jr. (Kearney Community Theater – March 2023). August enjoys spending as much time as possible with his friends, taking guitar lessons, singing, playing the alto saxophone in his school band and playing tackle and flag football. His favorite football team is the Bengals, and he is hoping to convince his parents to attend one of their games soon. He would like to thank Crane River Theater for the opportunity to play Michael and be part of another joyful Christmastime show!
