Benton Davis is currently a student at the University of Alabama, studying Theatre, Film, and Studio Art as a triple major. Having a passion for all elements of theatre, on-stage and off, Benton is thrilled to be spending the summer with Crane River as a performer, designer, and technician. As a performer, he has played roles such as Lord Farquaad in Shrek: The Musical, Clopin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the Wolf and Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods. As a designer, he has designed lights for Spring Awakening and The Merchant of Venice, sound and music for The River, and projections for The Drowsy Chaperone, among many other productions. Away from theatre, he works as a musician, sculptor, and writer.
