Claire Gangwish is from Kearney, and is currently an eighth grader at Sunrise Middle School where she participates in show choir and athletics. Her passion for theatre has grown the past five years thanks to the Kearney Academy of Children’s Theatre and summer programming by Crane River Theater. To date, Claire has participated in eight years of dance, and performed in six productions. Her favorite roles include the Evil Queen in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, and the Fairy in The Enchanted Bookshop. Elf the Musical will be Claire’s debut with Crane River Theater. In addition to theatre, Claire is actively involved in 4-H, and has a passion for reading and cooking. Claire wants to thank her family, friends, and mentors for their continued support and encouragement.
