A Kearney native, Kaylee is currently a sophomore at UNK earning her degree in elementary education. When she was younger, she discovered her love for theater through the Academy of Children’s Theater in 6th grade. Since then, she has enjoyed being a part of numerous plays and musicals over the years, through both Kearney High School and Crane River Theater. You might recognize her from her most recent Crane River Shows “It’s A Wonderful Life”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and “Miracle on 34th Street”. Besides theater, Kaylee loves to express her love of the arts through music. She was a part of the Kearney High School Band for 4 years where she played the flute. She was also a part of the Kearney High School Choir for 4 years as well as part of the UNK Women’s Chorus for 1 year. At her local church, she enjoys being a part of the worship team where she sings and plays piano. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her, and most importantly, she would like to thank God for giving her so many opportunities and a wonderful community through which she can share her love of the arts.
