Costume Designer

 

Sara is a costume designer and Senior Lecturer in Theatre at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She received her BA in Theatre from Illinois State University and her MFA in Costume Design from the University of California, Irvine. Her professional work has included theatre, opera, film, and television. While in California she had the opportunity to work at the Pasadena Playhouse as their costume supervisor, where she worked on such shows as Anna in the Tropics, Dirty Blonde, and 110 in the Shade. She is a member of IATSE Local 705, The Motion Picture Costumers Union in Los Angeles.
