Raised in Oklahoma, Katie graduated form Oklahoma State University in 2004 with a degree in Biology. Still having a passion for the arts, she started performing in church choir at an early age, finding her voice and enjoying many acting roles in youth choir. She then moved on to perform South Pacific in high school, performing with show choir at private events, and even going to Florida to compete in various vocal competitions. During her time in college, Katie enjoyed performing in choir and one act plays, participating in Miss OSU competitions and performing in the Stillwater Community Theater’s production of Bye Bye Birdie as a “shoo-wop” girl. When she isn’t performing, she enjoys spending time with her family and running her coffee house, Chapman Swifts.
