Cody is originally from McMinnville, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.F.A. in Theatre with a double emphasis in Musical Theatre and Technical Production. Some of his favorite performance credits include Moritz in Spring Awakening, Orin in Little Shop of Horrors, Jack in Into the Woods, Snail in A Year With Frog and Toad, Sonny in Xanadu, Pinocchio in Shrek, Dragon in The Reluctant Dragon, and Ugly in Honk! Cody has also been a designer and scenic painter for companies such as Central Piedmont Summer Theatre, Cumberland County Playhouse, Tennessee Shakespeare Company, Arts Center of Cannon County, as well as with M.T.S.U. and University of Memphis. He is excited to join the Crane River Theater family and will be joining Charleston Stage in Charleston, South Carolina as a Resident Actor in July.
