Returning for his second round at Crane River Theater, Harley graduated from Raymond Central in 2005. With instrumental music being his passion, he attended Wayne State College in pursuit of a degree in music education. Along with his involvement in music, he also took multiple theatre classes and participated in some acting, stage work, and played in the pit orchestra. After graduating in 2010, Harley started his teaching career at Friend Public School, where he directed the band and coached the one-act play production. While there, he also helped direct, designed lighting and operated sound for the musicals Pirates of Penzance, Fiddler on the Roof, and Beauty and the Beast. In 2014, Harley left Friend to pursue new opportunities with Broken Bow Public Schools. He has just finished his fourth year as Director of Bands. Outside of school, Harley is a member of the Custer Masonic Lodge #148, and a drum major for the Masonic All-Star Marching Band. Harley would like to thank Crane River for this great opportunity and all of his music mentors and friends from over the years.
