Brigham is a freelance Scenic Designer and Stage Manager. He completed his undergraduate degree at Western Carolina University’s School of Stage and Screen with a Bachelors of Arts in Design and Technical Theatre. His studies and training focused on scenic design and stage management. Before arriving at Crane River Theater this summer, Brig worked for the Connecticut Repertory Theatre as an Assistant Stage Manager for the show Disaster, directed by Jack Plotnick. His design credits include J.B., This Is Our Youth, and Intimate Apparel. As an Assistant Designer, he worked under Terry Martin for the musical, Company. His favorite stage management credits include Spring Awakening and Hair, both directed by Terrence Mann; additionally, Shrek, directed by Chryssie Whitehead, for the Cherokee School District. Brig has also worked for companies such as the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Berkshire Theatre Group, and the Red Fern Theatre Company. After his time at Crane River Theater, Brig will travel to Fort Myers, Florida to work with The Florida Repertory Theatre as their Assistant Stage Manager for the upcoming season.
