Mrs. Greer

This is Amariah’s debut season with Crane River, though she has loved the stage life for almost 20 years after starting ballet as a child. In 2010, she founded the Ballet and Jazz program at The Stage Dance Studio in her hometown of North Platte. In 2016, she moved to Kearney and opened Encore Performing Arts Studio where she teaches dance, piano, and voice. She enjoys helping a new generation of theater lovers rise up! Amariah “Miss Mari” has choreographed for several high school, collegiate, and community theater programs. Some of her favorite rolls include Christine (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Violet (It’s a Wonderful Life) Joan (Godspell) and filling the roles of both Choreographer and the title role in Mary Poppins. One of her most memorable theater experiences was having to jump into a supporting role in Sherlock with only 12 hours to learn lines and blocking! She and husband Josh have 2 busy boys, Artie (3) and Darcy (1). They all love to dance and sing as a family!
