Benjamin joins Crane River this summer from Mankato, Minnesota. He is currently enrolled at Minnesota State University-Mankato where he is working to obtain his MFA in Scenic Design. He recently relocated from Madison, New Jersey where he worked as both a designer and as part of the production management team for The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. His recent work includes designs of: Steel Magnolias (Lyric Art Center) George Orwell’s 1984 (Minnesota State University, Mankato), Julius Caesar (Shakespeare Live), Bomb-bitty of Errors (Redhouse Arts Center), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)[Revised] (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey) and The Great Gatsby (Sioux Empire Community Theatre). Benjamin also holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from the University of South Dakota.
