Hairspray will be Blake’s first appearance acting for Crane River Theater. Blake currently attends Gothenburg High School as a senior, and participates in Cross Country, Track, Speech, One Act, and the school musical. Through his high school career, he has participated in many extracurricular activities, only to realize that the stage is his home. In 2016, Blake played the role of John Brooke in the musical Little Women and he is excited to take on the role of Motel in the musical Fiddler on the Roof next fall. During his junior year, he attended numerous honor choirs including UNO Honor Choir, Doane Honor Choir, as well as UNK Honor Choir. Blake would like to thank his friends for putting up with his obnoxiously spontaneous singing and dancing. He would also like to thank his mother, Jaimi Riley; his father, Brian Riley; and his choir teacher, Gabe Haberman, for helping him become the actor and singer he is today.
