Brian is a 1995 graduate of Kearney High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. After eleven years as the vocal music instructor and assistant instrumental music instructor at Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo, NE, he is now the 6-12 vocal music instructor at Lexington Public Schools in Lexington, NE. Brian is an active choral clinician and performer across Nebraska, participating in groups such as the Omaha Symphonic Chorus, Lincoln Community Concert Band, Platte River Singers, First Presbyterian Church of Wahoo, First United Methodist Church of Kearney as well as solo music performances. In the Fall of 2015, he received a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Brian’s music directing credits include, Little Shop of Horrors, Into the Woods, Wizard of Oz, The Music Man, Godspell, Oklahoma, Man of La Mancha and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.  Brian is a founding Board-Member of Crane River Theater in Kearney having served on the Board of Directors in the roles of Chairman and Treasurer since 2009.  He is a 2014 recipient the Nebraska Arts Council Governor’s Arts Award for Emerging Leadership.
