Calla just graduated from the University of Nebraska, Kearney with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, and is absolutely thrilled to make her Crane River debut! The theater is nothing new to this 2011 graduate of Perkins County High School where she acted throughout all four years of high school. Some of her favorite roles included Frenchy in Grease, Martha in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and being part of multiple state qualifying One-Act productions. Calla has also appeared in two student directed one acts at UNK. Her favorite role comes from being a saloon girl at Front Street’s Crystal Palace Revue, the longest running summer stock theater in Nebraska. If it’s singing, dancing or bad joke telling you’re looking for, you’ve found the right saloon girl!
