Calla is ecstatic to be back for her second season at Crane River Theater! A native of Grant, Nebraska, she quickly made Kearney her home away from home earning her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic training from the University of Nebraska–Kearney last year and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in sports administration. Calla is no stranger to the stage, participating in a plethora of musicals, one acts, and other plays throughout both her high school and collegiate careers. You may also remember seeing her in the ensemble of Crane River Theater’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat last summer. While playing Martha in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Frenchy in Grease, were some of her most fun and memorable roles; Calla’s favorite role still comes from being a saloon girl at Front Street’s historic Crystal Palace Revue in Ogallala, Nebraska. If it’s singing, dancing, or cow jokes you’re looking for, Calla is the right saloon girl for the job!
