Carol is delighted to be making her Crane River Theater Company debut. An active recitalist and performer, she made her international opera debut in Bad Schwalbach, Germany, as Frasquita in Carmen in 2005. In her most recent trip to Europe in 2012, reviewers claimed she left a “brilliant impression” (Nassauische Neue Presse). Major roles performed include Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Romilda (Xerses), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Pamina (The Magic Flute), Rose (Street Scene), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), Marian (The Music Man), Antigone (Antigone), Debbie Wastba (The Primary English Class), Alice (You Can’t Take It With You), and Hedvig (The Wild Duck). A doctoral candidate in vocal performance and opera directing at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, she obtained her M.M. in vocal performance and pedagogy from Ohio University in Athens, her B.A. from UNK, and spent two years studying abroad at the Johannes Gutenberg Universitaet in Mainz. Carol currently maintains a full-time private voice studio in Grand Island and Kearney while she works on finishing her doctoral dissertation.
