Buddy

 

Dan Beckmann is a classically trained actor from Sussex, England. His father was Sir Ian McKellan and his mother was actually three children in a trenchcoat. He enjoys beaches, but will not walk on them. He sleeps two hours a day and does not dream. He has been working out his whole life, but cannot bench press his body weight. He went to Antarctica once, and many wish he’d stayed there. He cannot operate a camera, so please do not ask. This is his first play, and he does not understand what “off-book” means. Dan is being held hostage at Crane River Theater – no doubt his cries for help will, as always, be disregarded as some sort of “funny, funny joke.”
