Eileen (McDole) Jahn operates a private voice studio, in addition to directing the Nebraskats as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, and teaching Zumba® and BODYPUMP® classes at the Kearney Family YMCA. She is an active adjudicator and performer whose most recent roles include Alma Hix in The Music Man—Concert Version with Crane River Theater (March 2016), Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun at Kearney Community Theatre (Summer 2015), Violet Newstead in 9 to 5: The Musical at KCT (Summer 2014), Mrs. Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly! at KCT (Winter 2014), a Who in Seussical: The Musical with the Crane River Theatre Company (Summer 2013), Miss Agatha Hannigan in Annie with the Minden Community Players (Spring 2013), Doris Walker in Miracle on 34th Street at KCT (Christmas 2012), Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods with Crane River (Summer 2012), Lady Thiang in The King and I at KCT (Summer 2010) and Marian “The Librarian” Paroo in The Music Man at KCT (Summer 2008). Eileen graduated from UNK in 1996 with a BA in Music (Mathematics minor) and earned her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Kansas State University in 1999. She is a life member of Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity, a member of the Platte River Singers, and a member of Kearney First United Methodist Church’s Chancel Choir. She also serves on the board of the Kearney Concert Association. Her most important roles in life are those of wife to Mick and mother to Emma and Heath.
