Originally from Arlington, Virginia, Maddox is a rising senior at the College of William & Mary. He discovered his love for theatre in sixth grade and truly found his place in high school, working in the scene shop, designing and building sets. At William & Mary, Maddox has been an active member of the theatre community, contributing to both departmental and student-led productions in a wide range of technical and design roles. Notable credits include scenic design for The Pirates of Penzance with the Sinfonicron Light Opera Company, one of the College’s oldest student organizations. Last summer, he worked as a Scenic Carpenter with the technical staff at Long Lake Camp for the Arts in the Adirondacks of New York, gaining a deeper appreciation for fast-paced, collaborative production environments. Maddox is thrilled to be joining Crane River Theater this season and is deeply grateful for the support of his family and his girlfriend.
