Mark was born in New Jersey and moved to Ohio at an early age. In high school, he found his way into the world of theater. In college, Mark has had the opportunity to be an Assistant Technical Director for productions such as Hair, The Prom, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Inherit the Wind. Mark was the Technical Director for a production of Romeo & Juliet, working within a black box theater. Mark was a singer, dancer, and show choir kid from middle school through high school graduation, but developed a particular interest in performing offstage in theater. He quickly jumped on the opportunity to be the Student Technical Director for his high school, having the privilege to create the scenic design for a production of Beauty and the Beast. After graduating, he enrolled at Ohio University, studying Technical Direction. He has cultivated his carpentry skills, along with learning welding, rigging, and lighting on ETC and Hog consoles. Mark has a passion for climbing, hiking, and traveling. He also continues to express his creative side through photography and making jewelry. Mark wants to thank his parents and friends for their support of his wild dreams, and Tim Smith for allowing Mark to find his way in the world of Theater.
