Masie is so thrilled to have been invited back to be a part of the 2016 company. Past shows with Crane River Theater include Seussical the Musical (Who), Shrek the Musical (Duloc Citizen), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Ensemble). Masie has just completed her sophomore year and KHS. There she is actively involved in the school’s theater and music programs. A few past shows at KHS are Cinderella (Townsperson), Don Quixote (Peasant), The Crucible (Ann Putnam), The Pillowman (Chorus leader), and Children of Eden (Snake, soloist, storyteller). Recently, she directed her first show, London Suite by Neil Simon. She also has participated in numerous ACT productions. She also is an active member of Drama Club and Thespian Troupe 1811 as a thespian officer. In the music programs Masie has taken part in show choir, choir, District Music Contest, UNK Honor Choir, and All­-State choir. She also sang in Wisconsin, Dallas, and Salt Lake City, performing in ACDA national choirs. This year, Masie was also a state qualifier in Humorous Interpretation (HI) and Oral Interpretation of Drama (OID) for speech. When not performing, Masie loves to play guitar or piano, dance at 23rd Street Dance Company, write, and sing. Masie would like to thank her family and friends, as well as CRT for this amazing opportunity and for supporting her passion for the arts.
