Masie is so excited to be involved in her 6th show with Crane River Theater this summer! She recently completed her junior year at Kearney High School, where she is actively involved in the theatre and music department. She was recently involved in shows such as Footloose (Vi Moore), The Great Gatsby (Jordan Baker), Children of Eden (Snake/Soloist), and The Crucible (Ann Putnam). Last year, she also directed her first play, London Suite. Masie is currently the president of KHS Thespian Troupe 1811. She has been a part of the Kearney High School speech and one-act team, where she has participated in Don Quixote, The Pillowman, Peter and the Starcatcher, and has qualified for State in Humorous Interpretation and Oral Interpretation of Drama. In music, Masie has participated in the KHS Chorale and Pops show choir. She has also been a member of the UNK Honor Choir, the All-State Choir, and has performed in ACDA regional and national honor choirs in Wisconsin, Dallas, and Salt Lake City. Masie is also a member of the Kearney High Marching Band drumline. When she’s not performing, she loves to play guitar or piano, sing, and dance at the 23rd Street Dance Company. Masie would like to thank her family, friends, and Crane River Theater for another opportunity to share her passion with the community, and for supporting her in what she loves to do.
