Matthew, a Northwest Iowa native, is thrilled to be making his Crane River Theater debut! Matthew is a soon to be senior BFA Musical Theatre candidate at Minnesota State University, Mankato. His previous regional credits include, “Triton” in the The Little Mermaid, “Horace” in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and “Jesus Costazuela” in The Odd Couple, Female Version. Collegiately, some of Matthew’s favorite roles have been, “Jerry Lukowski” in The Full Monty, “Younger Brother” in Ragtime, “Billy Nolan” in Carrie: The Musical, and “John Brooke” in Little Women. During his undergraduate, Matthew has also had the opportunity to compete for an Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship where he was a semifinalist and most recently a partnered finalist.
