Merissa is so excited to not only be making her Crane River debut, but her theater debut as well. Hairspray is the first show that Merissa has been a part of, and she couldn’t be more thrilled. Until now, she says she’s been living her Broadway dreams vicariously through her sister, Mikhaila. Merissa graduated from Kearney Catholic High School in 2015 and now attends Nebraska Wesleyan University where she is a part of the Gold Rush dance team. This coming fall she will be a junior, and she is majoring in Communication Studies with minors in Marketing and Chemistry. To the audience of her first show, she really hopes you enjoy!
