Born in Nebraska and raised in Colorado, Nate is excited to be a part of the cast of “The Wizard of Oz.” As a member of the Colorado Children’s Chorale since the second grade, Nate has performed at Boettcher Hall, with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, alongside Opera Colorado, at the Aspen Music Festival and for Mahlerfest. While in Tour Choir, he performed at the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival in Italy and performed all across New Zealand where he also learned the Haka. Working tech, he helped with the premiere of “Illusions of Grandeur, Inc.” by Eric Eidson and “The Odd Couple” as a student at Overland High School. The female version was honored to be selected to perform at the Colorado State Thespian Convention. Nate has enjoyed roles in his school’s One Act Play Festivals and the Red Eye 10s. Being in the cast of “Oklahoma!” and “Guys and Dolls” with the Parker Theater Productions as well as playing Papa Ogre and four other chorus roles in “Shrek” at Overland High School really solidified his love of musical theater. He will be a Junior in the fall where he also sings in the Cecilian Singers and plays saxophone in the school’s bands.
