Stephen majored in theater and forensics in high school and at the University of Kansas. He has performed in such shows as Spoon River Anthology, West Side Story, Dark At The Top Of The Stairs, Come Back Little Sheba, Macbeth, Midsummers Night’s Dream as well as several one act plays. In speech competition, Stephen placed 1st in the State of Kansas and 4th at National Competition for Dramatic Interpretation. Having veered onto a different career path Stephen, now retired, has rekindled his passion for the stage and was most recently seen at Monsignor O’Hara in Crane River Theater’s production of Sister Act. He has also assisted with running lights for A Christmas Story, Next To Normal and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
