Willis Green is a stage and film actor from Memphis, TN. He has several performance credits including starring roles in Fences (Troy Maxson) at Theatre Memphis, Othello (Othello) at New Moon Theatre, Jelly’s Last Jam (Chimney Man) at Hattiloo Theatre, and Life Sciences (Reverend Akins) at Arkansas Repertory Theatre. Recently, he was nominated for a Memphis Ostrander Theatre Award for best leading actor in a drama, for his performance in Rose and the Rime (Uncle Roger) at McCoy Theatre. He also has several television and film credits; two of his recent films were selected as finalists for the Memphis Film Prize. Willis is excited about his debut performance with Crane River Theater and is grateful for the unending love and support of his wife and son as he pursues his dreams on stage, television, and film.
