Choreographer

Amariah “Miss Mari” Gesinski grew up as a native of North Platte. She and husband Josh have 2 boys, Artie (5) and Darcy(2). With a background of classical ballet, she was introduced and fell in love with musical theater in her later high school years. She founded the ballet program at The Stage in 2010 (currently Legacy Studios), then opened Encore Performing Arts Studio in Kearney in 2016 where she currently teaches dance, piano, and voice. She has enjoyed the opportunity to choreograph for many high-school, college, community and professional theaters in Nebraska. Some of her favorites are Oliver, Annie, Tuck Everlasting, Mary Poppins, and The Addams Family.  Christmas singing and dancing is her favorite and she is thrilled to be working with Crane River again, after doing the choreography for their summer educational program of Suessical with the Kearney Middle Schools. She wants to thank Josh for his dedication to the family during this busy season for the studio!
