Choreographer
 

Ashley is an Associate Professor of Dance at the University of Central Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Arts with a Dance Emphasis and a minor in Entrepreneurship from Iowa State University and an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of New Mexico. Since arriving at UCM, Ashley has been awarded the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Meritorious Achievement Award for Choreography for her work in A Chorus Line and The Pirates of Penzance and was instrumental in establishing the BFA Musical Theatre program and dance minor at UCM. Most recently, Ms. Miller premiered ZOOOM!, a newly devised children’s show, at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Ashley also holds teaching certifications in beginning levels of ballroom dance and YogaFit. She is an active member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) and the American College Dance Association (ACDA). Ashley is excited to be returning to Crane River after serving as choreographer for Seussical in 2013 and is looking forward to working with this year’s cast and crew.
